I’ve combined 80 maps to make amazing long hauls in final ETS2 1.58 Giga map combo. Have to remind you that this setup is not for everyone – you probably will not have enough time behind the wheel to discover all small corners of the map. If you’re not planning to switch to version 1.58 until its public release you have a chance to enjoy gigantic map combo like this one. It is most probably the final edition of map setup for ETS2 1.57 and I have combined 81 maps to make amazing long hauls like one I started in January. Have to remind you that this setup is not for everyone – you probably will not have enough time behind the wheel to discover all small corners of the map and soon on ETS2 1.58 we have to start from the beginning and most of mods will be updated. And if you just jumped in trucking simulators world don’t ignore Beginner’s Guide which can answer a lot of important questions.

Started 27,000 kilometers long haul
Last week I started a really long haul with 27k km from South America to Asia with 70 mod maps of Giga Map Combo. I’m sharing my experience on Youtube channel and it will be long series so perhaps part of these footages will be on my second old channel. Currently released two parts of the trip and I’m still in Argentina and drove in to Chile. And it is EAA map with rescale.
I know that silent driving videos attract not a big audience and most of you are waiting for hot guides for map mod combinations or secret reveals, but some people are still like to relax and watch those calm videos.
Giga Map Combo for ETS2 1.57 – Tutorial – January, 13 – 2026
As I mentioned in the latest setup, please hold on a bit longer – a better map combo will be available soon. Today, on January 13, we are ready to update. In addition to the base maps, I’ve added some smaller updates, and I would now consider this map combination as “Giga” rather than “Mega” (not only in the number of mods but also in area coverage). Thanks to the updated Hybrid RC, we can now combine Roextended with PM 2.80, RM 2.57.1 and PR as well. (If you know all these acronyms, you’re good!)

[Retro Gaming] 12 Hours trip on ETS2 1.34 in 2019 on Vintage Map Combo
This is almost real time route made in March 2019 on map combo of those times. It was recorded on ETS2 1.34 and uploaded on my old channel by 9 parts with total time of 12 hours and 44 minutes. Unfortunately youtube allows now maximum 12 hours videos so I had to cut and timelapse a little, I’m sure it is still gigantic and no one watch it fully. It is very difficult or even impossible to reproduce this route unless you have all these old mods and have not updated ETS2 from version 1.34.
Interesting facts about this route – the map combo shown in the video was designed for long hauls – from map were removed ferries and train connections. This map combo was without Promods and some maps was modified. I did not assemble it but reproduced from famous Wombat Trucker. I had no steering wheel and played with game controller. BTW I kept original sound of the game.
Earlier I already experiment with very long video, it was on actual game version (ETS2 1.49) on actual combo. Now it’s outdated a little (about 1 year) but still breathtaking:)
