This year, the ghosts and ghouls at TruckersMP have decided to celebrate the spooky season with a triple series of events including The Big Pumpkin Pickup, Halloween experience 2025, Halloween Ghost Hunt!
The Big Pumpkin Pickup
There has been a major truck driver shortage this year which has caused a massive delay in Pumpkin shipments to local businesses! We need your help to deliver at least 200,000 shipments of pumpkins and Halloween decorations together as a community before Halloween!
TruckersMP calling on the community for help, to ensure all the deliveries are made in time!
To pick up these seasonal cargoes, simply head to our struggling pumpkin farm which can be found very central between Geneva, Bern and Dijon!
As a reward for taking part in The Big Pumpkin Pickup, you will earn a special achievement for your profile.
- To get this achievement you must deliver a minimum of 5 seasonal cargoes across the map.
- You must drive at least 100km/62mi per job to count.
- The cargoes for this event are called “TMP Halloween Supplies”, “Giant Candy Bar” & “Spider Candle”.
This event will begin on the 12th of October, and you have until the 2nd of November (inclusive) to finish all the deliveries.
Halloween Experience
Dare to drive through the shadows this Halloween at TruckersMP!
On the 25th of October on Euro Truck Simulator 2. Most of the details under the graves for now – after all, revealing too much might spoil the magic! One thing’s for certain though, here’s what you need to know:
- The server will open at 15:00 UTC and the event will finish at 21:00 UTC.
- When joining the server you MUST spawn at Frankfurt, Strasburg or Liege
- Please do not spawn at any other city as the roads may be blocked/closed and you will be classed as free roaming.
- Once spawning at one of the cities above, there will be a custom queue system, we ask you to respect and follow all instructions from Event Staff and signage in the area.
- This experience will not be like a convoy as we plan to manage it a little differently to make this experience even better.
- The routes are designed to be driven with large gaps between each player. Please keep to the speed limits set on each route.
- There are a total of 3 routes during this event each starting from the different cities listed above. All 3 routes during this event are different and we encourage you to experience all of them!

TruckersMP’s Halloween Hunt
After four long years, the Hunt is back in 2025!
The event will begin on 26th of October 15:00 UTC and you have until 26th of October 19:00 UTC to find all the ghosts.
12 ghosts are hiding in central Europe. Finding them is essential!
If you are one of the top three players to find all 12 ghosts the fastest, you will win a special prize!
The ghosts are represented by our Event Team, with their player tag matching the color of the ghost they are hauling, e.g. “Blue Ghost!”
They will not appear on the tab menu or the TruckersMP map, so your only way to find them is by being on the lookout and watching your GPS!
New event – Witches Of Brackenreach
Did my first job in Halloween event #WitchesOfBrackenreach on World of Trucks and got lost in hidden spooky labyrinth. These deliveries are entertaining so much. Couple viewpoints did the discovery more attractive. After the Christmas Winterland I was waiting for something like that.

Electric DAF XF Joins the Fleet in ETS2
The third full electric truck has been revealed in Euro Truck Simulator 2. As the previous tractors with electric engine DAF XF is only available for Quick Jobs up to 350 km so you can’t unfortunately park it on your garage. Also you cannot charge battery unless you use mods.
For players eager to experience a more realistic electric trucking simulation, the modding community has stepped in with solutions that add charging functionality, though this requires venturing beyond the base game.
The journey toward electrification in ETS2 began with the introduction of the Renault Electric truck, which marked a historic first for the game. This groundbreaking addition gave players their initial taste of zero-emission hauling, even with its Quick Job limitations. The fleet expanded further when Scania brought their electric model to the game, becoming the second manufacturer to join the green revolution.
Hidden Roads Study – October, 14 2025
I’m sharing found hidden secret roads in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 periodically. While in Europe we don’t have new marked roads since the Greece release (2024) in US we go to state after state and in latest Iowa have plenty of nice secrets. I believe in ETS2 with Nordic Horizon and Louisiana in ATS which will be released later this year SCS will show us new hidden paths and easter eggs.

Krone Agriculture Equipment DLC
SCS yesterday released the KRONE Agriculture Equipment DLC for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. The addition expands your job roster with a powerful line-up of officially licensed, KRONE-branded farming machinery.
The DLC includes the following new cargoes for ETS2 and ATS:

Map Combo Study 10.06.2025
After the release of ETS2 and ATS 1.56 some map combo setup are available but it is also work in progress so probably soon we can combine more maps for stable gameplay. A lot of conserns in YT comments let me know that not everyone follow load order and basic rules of mods. So if you have some experience but still face with issues start with beginner’s guide.
As always before you start please always check if the guide you see latest and actual (check dates and videos availability). Please also follow rules and requirements – correct load order, DLCs compatibility and avoid extra mods that did not mentioned in the guide. In some cases you need to create new profile for stable work of maps especially if your old profile have pieces of deleted mods, garages, trucks etc.
Every single mod (not only map) can break the game and you will have a problems.

Southern Region mod is frozen right now
We haven’t see new versions of Southern Region map since version 1.54 (May 2025) and it was adaptation of 13th edit with minor new content and mostly compatibility. Since that we’ve seen a lot of changes in the game. Its only author Artyom (aka SimKA) has not enough time to make updates and never share the map with other modders. So to avoid speculations it has been revealed statement on the official community:
1. No new versions are expected at this time. The project has been effectively “frozen” since June. Artyom (author) will unfreeze it when he comes back online.
2. The current version (13.1, for ETS 2 1.54) has been removed from sharemods for violating rules. Furthermore, version 13.1 for 1.56 is no longer particularly suitable, so there’s no point in restoring the link for now.
3. Overall situation with the project is as follows: we’re waiting for Artyom to have enough free time to adapt map for the current version (not even for 1.56, for sure) and we’ll restore the download links (with mirrors).
4. In terms of map builds, it’s best not to use it at all for now. Since the official version is outdated, and when using third-party “improvements,” it’s unclear what the creators have added.
New Bundles of SCS Games
During Autumn Steam sale SCS changed their bundles and old bundles are not available now. So my shopping guide for ATS is outdated right now. Actual bundles are here – it is good time to purchase insufficient DLC.
UK Possible Rework Announced in creative manner
Britain in ETS2 is the oldest area in the game, featuring incorrect scale, outdated materials, ancient assets, and a road network that hasn’t aged well. Along with the early Eastern European regions, it stands in stark contrast to the newly added expansions such as West Balkans or Greece, not to mention the stunning quality we’ve seen in recent map updates in Germany and Switzerland.
The Teaser That Started It All
Recently, SCS Software released an intriguing teaser video that’s got the community buzzing. On the surface, it appears to be a charming guide on how to make English tea correctly, complete with proper BBC-style British pronunciation. No trucks, no roads, no explicit mention of any rework—just tea, spoken in the Queen’s English.
But longtime fans of SCS know that the studio rarely does anything without purpose. Why would a Czech game developer suddenly release a video about British tea culture with such attention to authentic pronunciation and cultural detail? The answer seems obvious: Britain might finally be getting the rework it desperately deserves.
Why Britain Needs a Rework
The United Kingdom was one of the first regions added to Euro Truck Simulator 2, and while it was impressive at the time, the game has evolved tremendously since then. Modern expansions showcase:
- Accurate scaling that makes cities feel properly sized
- High-quality materials and textures that bring roads and landscapes to life
- Detailed assets from buildings to vegetation
- Realistic road networks that mirror real-world infrastructure
- Atmospheric lighting and weather effects
Drive through the UK today, then hop over to any recently updated region, and the difference is striking. Britain feels cramped, simplified, and lacking in the character that makes exploring new territories so enjoyable in modern ETS2.
The Big Question: Free or Paid?
This brings us to the inevitable question: if SCS does rework the UK, will it be a free update or a paid DLC?
There’s precedent for both approaches. SCS has historically provided significant free updates to existing map areas, continuously improving the base game. However, the scale of work required to completely rebuild Britain from scratch, essentially would be enormous. We’re talking about:
- Completely remodeling every city
- Rebuilding the entire road network with proper scaling
- Creating new assets for British landmarks and architecture
- Updating materials and textures throughout
- Potentially expanding the map to include more of the UK (Ireland would be a good candidate for DLC)
Given the scope, a paid DLC wouldn’t be unreasonable. Many in the community would gladly pay for a “UK Refresh” or “Britain Reworked” DLC that brings the region up to modern standards. After all, SCS has earned tremendous goodwill with their consistent support and quality improvements over the years.
Alternatively, SCS might surprise us with a free major update, continuing their tradition of supporting the base game while funding development through new expansion sales.
Looking Forward
Whether that tea-making video is a clever hint or just SCS having some fun, one thing is certain: Britain deserves the same love and attention that recent expansions have received. The UK was there at the beginning of ETS2’s journey, and it would be wonderful to see it brought up to the standard that reflects how far the game has come.
