Nordic Horizons DLC Official Trailer
Along with the announcement for truck simulators release on consoles, SCS also revealed Official trailer for upcoming ETS2 expansion Nordic Horizons DLC. The trailer is in traditional dramatic style with no surprises. We still have no evidence that the expansion will be released in 2025 and so early trailer revealed is linked mostly to Gamescom where it was presented.
According to #SCS, development of this DLC took more than two years and 2 map development teams. And in terms of area it might be bigger that two latest DLC (Greece and West Balkans) together. For sure Nordic roads and lands not so saturated as Balkan small countries or Greece but we hope it will bring us amazing landscape mapping and long haul experience.

ETS2 and ATS on Consoles
SCS Software made an announcement during yesterday’s Future Games Show, the digital showcase that runs ahead of Gamescom and highlights upcoming gaming projects. The developer premiered an exclusive teaser confirming the console versions of their popular trucking simulators.
The announcement officially confirmed that both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator will be making their way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This represents a significant expansion for the franchise, which has primarily been available on PC platforms.
Console players will gain access to the realistic trucking physics and open-world gameplay that has made these simulators popular among PC users. The move to next-generation hardware should allow for enhanced performance and visual fidelity compared to previous console attempts in the trucking simulation genre.
Map Combo Study 08.21.2025
If you just started with mods and map combination please see beginner’s guide. If you ask obvious questions explained in that guide most probably you will be send to watch it again.
Regarding actual map combinations for both games on version 1.55 we have setups for both games and I’m sure they are not final. While no significant changes in America and ATS combo is actual and on hold on improvements, European combination growing almost every day. Below you will find massive setup for 55 maps for ETS2 and soon it will be expanded with new released maps like Eurafrica, Great Steppe, Poland Rebuilding, updated Sibirmap and other maps. I need time to assemble and test it so I hope we can see it not early that the weekend.
Before start to combine maps on your side please always check if the guide you see is latest and actual. Please also follow rules and requirements – correct load order, DLCs compatibility and avoid extra mods that did not mentioned in the guide. Every single mod (not only map) can break the game and you will have a problems.
Today for Europe we have mentioned mega map combo with 55 and it will be updated soon.
ETS2 Mega map combo 55 maps (08.17.2025)
For American 1.55 you can still build 17 maps setup with all major maps including latest Beyond, Promods Canada, ATS Expansion. Combo requires latest Iowa DLC and some maps also other DLCs dependent. Please see the guide for smart shopping of American DLC with bundles. For American configuration we use only free mods.
ATS Big Map Combo (08.02.2025)
While European setup is on development and soon we will see the update with fresh mods, American one will be probably actual for some time, minor mod versions updated and links are actualized.

Great Steppe 1.4 for ETS2 1.55 released
It is finally available major update of Great Steppe map from Promods team. New and rebuild cities in Kazakhstan as well as update of AI traffic. Version 1.4.0 is available to download on official website.

Sibir Map 2.11 released
New version of Sibir map for ETS2 1.55 has been released in 2 versions – Free and Support (paid). While in SV (paid support version) changes are in added Р-254 highway and also expansion of Omsk city, in FV (free version) the only the first change on freeway P-254 added. Currently support version is available in bundle with new standalone Hexamap demo and cost about $3 but you have to pay on the russian unknown website.

Please note that since the map is standalone you have to create new profile and choose Columbia module (not Europe), unless you already have Mapkalo map profile as I did.
