Map Combo Study 09.04.2025
The cycle of ETS2 and ATS 1.55 is going to the end and we already have open betas for 1.56 for both games. It means less time for map combos for current version. We do not expect significant map changes in new version of the game so I hope most map mods will receive mostly compatibility updates.
Regarding 1.55 – I’m planning to combine final setup for ATS this week and refresh 1.55 Mega.
If you just started with mods and map combination please see beginner’s guide. If you ask obvious questions explained in that guide most probably you will be send to watch it again.
Below you can find massive setup for 58 maps for ETS2 and still actual American 17 maps combination.
Before start please always check if the guide you see latest and actual. Please also follow rules and requirements – correct load order, DLCs compatibility and avoid extra mods that did not mentioned in the guide. Every single mod (not only map) can break the game and you will have a problems.

ATS 1.56 Open Beta
Today SCS released 1.56 Open Beta branch for American Truck Simulator to try and test out. SCS teams are currently adapting to a new update cycle. Because future console releases will require to lock in content earlier, this adjustment helps better coordinate timing across every platform.

All 235 Hidden Roads in ATS 1.55 (with Iowa) Secret Roads, Towns and Easter eggs
The guide contains 235+ hidden roads in 18 states (including Iowa DLC) on American Truck Simulator. It is actual for September 2025, on ATS 1.55.
Some roads are periodically disappear during map reworks and some new are being added in new game versions. Mostly I added marked roads but also some easter eggs are available.
And we are waiting the new states soon – Louisiana, Illinois and South Dakota.
I tried to avoid spoilers, mark only locations and removed hidden roads footages but if you prefer to to discover all hidden roads and secrets yourself better to skip the video.

RAM & Dodge Car Pack
SCS Software has announced another downloadable content pack for American Truck Simulator: Road Trip, introducing the RAM & Dodge Car Pack to the popular trucking simulation game.
Road Trip represents a new addition to American Truck Simulator that introduces alternative gameplay beyond traditional trucking. This gameplay module allows players to operate various vehicles, expanding the game experience while maintaining focus on open-road exploration.
The RAM & Dodge Car Pack will feature American automotive design and performance vehicles. The development team notes that specific details for each vehicle, including engine configurations and trim options, are still being finalized and will be shared at a later date.
The pack aims to include several iconic vehicles from the RAM and Dodge lineup. Players can expect to drive the RAM 1500 pickup truck, the Dodge Charger, the Dodge Viper, and the Dodge Challenger. These vehicles represent significant entries in automotive history and will be available for highway cruising within the game world.
Upon release of the RAM & Dodge Car Pack, or any Road Trip vehicle pack, the Road Trip gameplay module will become available to players. Purchasing this DLC or any future Road Trip content will unlock access to the new gameplay experience, marking a notable expansion for American Truck Simulator.

Map Combos for SCS trucking games are not a simple thing for newcomers. So you can find lot of ready setups for actual version, including here on Trucksim, but before start better to avoid obvious mistakes. In this guide I’m explaining how to build map combo for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) or American Truck Simulator (ATS), from how to download and combine maps, to tricks how to avoid crashes. ETS2 and ATS on Consoles
SCS Software made an announcement during yesterday’s Future Games Show, the digital showcase that runs ahead of Gamescom and highlights upcoming gaming projects. The developer premiered an exclusive teaser confirming the console versions of their popular trucking simulators.
The announcement officially confirmed that both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator will be making their way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This represents a significant expansion for the franchise, which has primarily been available on PC platforms.
Console players will gain access to the realistic trucking physics and open-world gameplay that has made these simulators popular among PC users. The move to next-generation hardware should allow for enhanced performance and visual fidelity compared to previous console attempts in the trucking simulation genre.

Regarding actual map combinations for both games on version 1.55 we have setups for both games and I’m sure they are not final. While no significant changes in America and ATS combo is actual and on hold on improvements, European combination growing almost every day. Below you will find massive setup for 55 maps for ETS2 and soon it will be expanded with new released maps like Eurafrica, Great Steppe, Poland Rebuilding, updated Sibirmap and other maps. I need time to assemble and test it so I hope we can see it not early that the weekend.

For American 1.55 you can still build 17 maps setup with all major maps including latest Beyond, Promods Canada, ATS Expansion. Combo requires latest Iowa DLC and some maps also other DLCs dependent. Please see the guide for smart shopping of American DLC with bundles. For American configuration we use only free mods.
