Map Combo Study 03.03.2026
On the game version 1.58 I started later with map combo setups and while we are good in Europe, American combination will be probably release later this week. As I mentioned earlier I’m not rushing out a combo setup just to be first. I’m not interested in clickbait or quick tricks to gain views. Instead, I will release a combination setup that I personally enjoy and would actually use myself — even if that means it comes out later.
There are already well-established rules and best practices that help avoid conflicts and common mistakes I’ve covered in Beginner’s Guide, which I strongly recommend watching before building or updating your map combo. It will save you time, prevent recurring issues, and help you create a stable and enjoyable setup from the start.

ATS 1.58 Secret Roads of Route 66 Rework
I continue to discover reworked map of Route 66 in ATS 1.58 and found already 15 hidden markable roads. Not sure that I will update Big guide until Illinois DLC this spring. Latest videos attract less attention and have very low views.

Merging profiles news
Since I’m merging discovered map sectors in my profiles periodically my old method with Notepad++ is time consuming and I decided to right a script to combine strings and generate list of unique values with proper sequence. Everyone can code today thanks to AI. So I’m planning to make updated guide which can help players with several different profiles and numerous map mods setups. The longest part of it for sure to create media, make a structure and do voiceover, so it will take time. Until that you can use my previous year-old guide which is still actual.
100% discovered study 02.24.2026
With version 1.58 of both games, the situation is a bit different.
In ETS2, we still have 100% map completion, and the guide below remains fully up to date.
However, in ATS, we received a major map update with the Route 66 rework. With the American guide below, you will now reach only about 96% completion out of the box. I’m still running deliveries and haven’t reached 100% yet. Most likely, I will skip this version and won’t create a dedicated guide for it.
The reasons are quite simple: time is very limited on my side, and there’s relatively low audience interest in ATS 100% guides. On top of that, we’re expecting the Illinois DLC this spring.
That said, if I finish my discovery soon and see no signs of ATS 1.59 or a new map expansion by the end of March, I may share the updated strings — at least for Patreon subscribers.

I do these discovery since 2017 and I discover whole map almost on every game versions including all expansions and reworks.
Hidden Roads Study – February, 18 2025
Since the last update we have numerous new secret roads in ATS 1 .58 I was thinking about updating the guide for America – I found already 10 new hidden roads and still in progress. But I believe soon we will see also new Illinois DLC so can expect new secrets on that new state. Unfortunately youtube rank and promote older videos first and below guides have a very bad discoverability and low views. So I don’t want to spent a lot of time for guide with 700 views.

I’m sharing found hidden secret roads in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 periodically since 2022 when this feature been released on ETS2 and ATS 1.44. But maybe right now it is time to freeze the series and let others do this job.

After the release of ETS2 1.58 my guide is still actual so you will get 100% explored road in 1.58 as well as in ETS2 1.57.
