Iowa DLC released
You don’t need the eyes of a hawk to see what’s coming, the Iowa DLC for American Truck Simulator officially releases today! Get ready to explore everything that the Hawkeye State has to offer.
Make the most of your visit to the Hawkeye State and enjoy every moment as you:
- Truck through 12 cities including Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Burlington, Iowa City, and more!
- Discover beautifully recreated landmarks like the Iowa State Capitol, Historic Cedar Covered Bridge, Tree in the Middle of the Road, or the world’s largest grain bins.
- Deliver cargo to or from new depots – the agricultural factory and agricultural dealer.
- Visit the biggest truck stop we have ever built in ATS on Interstate 80!
- Become a vital part in transporting farm produce from the Hawkeye State all over the USA.
- Explore more than 15 scenic towns (settlements) on your travels such as Spencer, Clear Lake, Dyersville, Oskaloosa, or Traer!
- Pick up and deliver equipment and goods to the Aluminum Factory, a brand-new prefab depot featuring custom-designed assets.

DLC is currently available on Steam, price depends on region ($11,99 in US). You can also save a bit with new ATS bundle Iowa Freight & Fields Bundle which also includes Special Transport DLC, Retrowave Paintjob and Farm Machinery DLC. (Each DLC in bundle are on 50% discount plus 10% bundle discount).
Cruising Iowa Event
Traditionally with new map DLC we get World of Trucks event, with the same mechanics and rules. So if you ever cruised the country or state you can guess details and rewards.
Community goal – 125,000,000 driven miles while delivering cargo to or from any city in Iowa.
All routes have to be more that 100 miles and only with External Contracts or External Market, with a World of Trucks-connected profile in American Truck Simulator.
Personal goal – delivery to or from 12 different Iowa cities.
Rewards:
Personal: Players that deliver cargo to or from 12 Iowa cities will gain a personal World of Trucks Achievement and a Golden Flight ATS truck paint job Steam inventory item.
Community: When the community goal of driving 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km) during deliveries to or from any city in Iowa is met, and if the player has also achieved their personal goal, then they will receive a Porcelain Wild Rose hanging ornament Steam inventory item.
Beyond ATS version 5 by TerraMaps is available for 1.55
Map mod has been released only for Patreon members.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.55 released!
Following ATS 1.55 for Euro Truck released as well. Some parts are equal to American game but some are unique for Europe.

European Grand Utopia and Grand Utopia (v1.18.1) are available!
Light update full of small improvements released of Grand Utopia version 1.18.1 for ETS2 1.55. The main aim of this version is to ensure perfect compatibility with the European Grand Utopia add-on, passionately created by Adyox. The add-on compatible with 1.55 is now available on TruckyMods, enabling any utopian to enjoy utopia to the full, discovering it off the coast of SCS Europe or ProMods Europe. American Truck Simulator 1.55 has been released
Long waited 1.55 release is here. Changelog is bigger than it was for open beta and don’t forget that in 10 days we also will get a new DLC.
With 1.55, a free update has rolled out for all owners of the Nebraska DLC. This addition expands the northeastern corner of the state with three key highways; The US-20, US-75, and US-81. On these new routes, drivers can discover a new truck stop, a weigh station, and several scenic landmarks.

Iowa will be released July, 10
Good news from SCS Software today. Now we have Iowa DLC for American Truck Simulator release date, it will be released July, 10 2025 and probably right after ATS 1.55 release.
The Hawkeye State (or Corn State) will be the next expansion to American Truck Simulator.
