Trucksim Showcase 02.25.2026
I have a lot of raw content prepared and even more ideas planned. The only thing I’m missing is time. Lately, I’ve been trying to balance my personal life with this hobby project, and that naturally slows things down.
As I mentioned before, the number of Trucksim videos on the channel will likely continue to decrease. The channel is no longer growing the way I once expected. To be honest, I feel somewhat dependent on YouTube’s algorithms and the uncertainty of ad revenue. Income from YouTube and the blog is quite small, and Patreon is still at $0.
Because of that, I’ve decided to dedicate more time to my personal life and reduce the amount of high-effort editing and complex guide scripting.
That said, my enthusiasm for trucking games hasn’t changed at all. I still love this genre, and I will continue creating both new types of content and traditional, regular videos.
About the Guide Series
For those who follow the channel for guides, I currently have three main series:
I don’t have specific plans yet for the first two. However, the Map Combos for the current game version are slowly in progress. I’m collecting mods, building a structured list of links, and monitoring communities for the latest fixes and compatibility issues.
Since I plan to reduce the number of setups (and therefore videos), I will probably start with something bigger and more comprehensive than what we currently have.
Like the entire modding community, I depend on mod releases and updates. I don’t plan to rush out a combo setup just to be first. I’m not interested in clickbait or quick tricks to gain views. Instead, I will release a combination setup that I personally enjoy and would actually use myself — even if that means it comes out later and gets fewer views.
So for now:
No dates.
No commitments.
And no answers to questions like, “When will the 500-map combo be available?”
When it’s ready — and when I’m truly satisfied with it — I’ll share it.

Promods 2.81 Released – Guide How to Download and Setup
New Promods 2.81 has just been released. You can enjoy new version on the ETS2 1.58 but note that all map DLC are required. In the guide below as always you will find step by step instruction, but please watch carefully and don’t ask about archives on the Youtube.
Eurafrica 3.9 for ETS2 1.58 is here
New version of Eurafrica has been released today and will be available for all subscribers starting tomorrow. new version includes a lot of updates in Morocco – new roads in Morocco (Targa, Oukaimeden, Marrakech) and new snowy mountain roads.

ProMods Canada 1.6.1 for ATS 1.58 has been released today and available at https://trucksim.top/38bg
On the new version added city Radium Hot Springs and expanded Revelstoke in British Columbia.
ATS 1.58 Secret Roads of Route 66 Rework
I continue to discover reworked map of Route 66 in ATS 1.58 and found already 10 hidden markable roads. Not sure that I will update Big guide until Illinois DLC this spring. Latest videos attract less attention and have very low views.

ETS2 1.58 Map Mods Updates
New version of ETS2 1.58 just released couple days ago but we already have some news from map modding community. It is still not time for gigantic map combos but if you wished to start 1.58 story with additional map you can do the switch. Below I provide only several mods with links and some upcoming updates.
Roextended 5.0 – new Roex map available in free and premium edition and going further in Poland – new cities Rzeszów, Przemyśl, Sanok, Krosno. Extended connections in the area. Fixed all reported bugs and updated materials to 1.58.
Roex road connections – currently available updated RCs to rusmap and SR Map but soon it will be added other connections when those mods release.
rusmap 2.58 – Adaptation for 1.58 without new content. Fixed errors found in previous version.
Sibir 2.12 – both paid and free versions announced on the live stream and will be available this weekend.
Promods 2.81 – announced but without dates and details. Same for Middle East 2.81, The Great Steppe 1.5.1 and Maghreb.

It was released 40 versions in 8 years of Roex according to Arayas. And version 5.0 for ETS2 1.58 is almost ready and will present new content.
Euro Truck Simulator 2: 1.58 Released
A day after America new version 1.58 released for Europe. It is also major update with significant changes in the game including UX/UI, physics and new Route advisor. Good news for fans of Driving Academy as well. Also in ETS2 here we have refresh for several trucks. But not dramatic impact on map – no new roads but enhancements for bus stations.

Hearts in Bloom Event and ETS2 1.58
The Valentine event looks the same as others events in ETS2 and ATS for years and you are not fan of romantic vibes and pink truck skins it can be skipped. If you are still interesting of new free cabin decorations as reward and pathetic deliveries follow SCS page for details
For the rest truckers (like me) more interesting is the tomorrow ETS2 1.58 release. After about two weeks after a beta start we got the final release with tons of new features, the same as in America. Map of ETS2 not affected drastically as it happened in ATS but we are getting ready for bus implementation and it will be the big present for community.
American Truck Simulator: 1.58 Released
After only two weeks of start of open beta the final release of ATS 1.58 is here. This is really major release and for America it is also a new map content – the first stage of Route 66 Rework.
