Hidden Roads Study – February, 18 2025
Since the last update we have numerous new secret roads in ATS 1 .58 I was thinking about updating the guide for America – I found already 10 new hidden roads and still in progress. But I believe soon we will see also new Illinois DLC so can expect new secrets on that new state. Unfortunately youtube rank and promote older videos first and below guides have a very bad discoverability and low views. So I don’t want to spent a lot of time for guide with 700 views.
Below you find all hidden roads in ATS and ETS2 found in version 1.57.

Hidden Roads Study (Final in 1.57) – January, 27 2025
Looks like all hidden roads in ATS and ETS2 found at least for now on game version 1.57, so this digest will be probably appear later this year when I have something to tease and discover.

On the last digest I mentioned that Hidden Roads Study series will likely be put on hold or possibly discontinued and count of views of latest videos convince me to freeze it. Nevertheless below you can find the most comprehensive hidden roads guide for ATS and ETS2 for this moment. I’m not gonna transform to shorts, clickbait and fake speculations just for views or extra couple bucks.

Hidden Roads Study – January, 15 2025
I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I’ve finished discovering all the new hidden roads in ETS2, including the refreshed Scandinavia and Nordic Horizon DLC content. We now have an impressive total of 109 secret roads across Europe! There will be two videos covering this: one featuring Nordic and Scandinavia footage, and another recap showing all ETS2 hidden road locations on the map. The bad news is that these videos haven’t been getting much traction. This isn’t your fault—it’s simply how YouTube’s algorithm promotes content. Unfortunately, this creates a challenge: these videos require significantly more time to create than they generate in visibility and engagement. Because of this, the Hidden Roads Study series will likely be put on hold or possibly discontinued. I’ll be focusing more on other types of guides and spending time enjoying the games themselves.
As for ATS, things are looking good! I’ve found 245 hidden roads so far. While the guide has only gotten around 400 views over the last 3 weeks, it’s still the most comprehensive hidden roads guide for American Truck Simulator available on YouTube.

While ATS hidden roads guide has been updated with 245 roads, in ETS2 1.57 we have a lot of new roads in refreshed Scandinavia and Nordic Horizon DLC, and I’m still discovering them. I hope I will update the guide in the beginning of 2026 but it can take more time.

Hidden Roads Study – November, 24 2025
As you know I’m sharing found hidden secret roads in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 periodically. Latest available guides with hidden roads is still actual but we have updates in ETS2 1.57 on refreshed Scandinavia, where I found at least 4 roads already, and will be more on Nordic Horizon DLC soon. In ATS, I assume, we will see also brand new secret paths with Louisiana DLC which will be released on December, 4. So for now I will not update guides until all these hidden roads will be discovered. I hope it will happen in 2025 but not sure because currently I have not enough time in the games.

While in Europe we don’t have new marked roads since the Greece release (2024) in US we go to state after state and in latest Iowa have plenty of nice secrets. I believe in ETS2 with Nordic Horizon and Louisiana in ATS which will be released later this year SCS will show us new hidden paths and easter eggs.

I’m trying to share found hidden secret roads in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 periodically. As you may know I’m sharing periodically found hidden secret roads in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. For now for Europe we don’t have new marked roads since the Greece release in 2024 and I assume until next map rebuilds (e.g. Scandinavia, Benelux) or map DLC like Nordic Horizon. But the other story with America where we got much more content to be discovered and after update in Missouri now we have also new secrets in Iowa. I guess I found all of marked secret roads in new state and will add them to the updated guide as well as couple easter eggs and pop-culture homages. Hidden Roads Study – July, 21 2025
I’m trying to share all found hidden secret roads in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 and for if for Europe we have no many of them since the Greece release in 2024, for America we had significant update after the Missouri release and have some new added with Iowa. And as mentioned on Telegram I discovered couple of new roads in Iowa and added them to list of cities by states https://trucksim.top/y9t6. I believe a lot others will be found while cruising Iowa and in the end I will refresh the video guide.
This takes considerable time, and YouTube analytics show that viewers prefer map mod combinations over guides like these. Therefore, I’ll be giving this project lower priority, along with other regular guides
